Dealing with contractors can be such a pain. My father has had those problems over the years with electricians.

Re: Yeah, I lean with the make a call.
My first thought would be to fire them, and hire someone else to get it done.

Poor organization I know Pat I had a porch ordered the chap took the old one down and did not return for 6 months. He made a reasonable job of it and a firm asked me how I rated his work, I did not feel able to commit myself to an answer.

I love this post.
I hate it when people don't keep their commitments or are very late.
I prefer fencing with words to the sharp blades. I don't like the sight of blood, or pain even though I dealt with it for 14 years as a nurse.

Pat
Very annoying! With larger jobs (which yours clearly is) I usually write up a contract which, amomg other things, specifies by what date it needs to be finished. That came in particularly handy when I had some remodelling done inside the house - the guys knew they had to keep at it, and they did. And they did a good job as well...

sickening...Doesn't anyone want to work anymore? they ensure that they have the job and then they keep about three jobs going so that they don't run out of work.
