I suppose you are the pack leader Naut. Ben will always be loyal to you, but he does seem to have a nice intelligent brain for sorting out problems. I doubt if a pekingese
or smaller dogs would be able to differentiate between your words. I suppose it helps you being more or less one to one. In a family a dog might not know who to relate to for
valid information. Nonetheless he is one cute guy.

A smart and receptive doggie indeed! Hopefully there won't be an incident when both of those doors are compromised for whatever reason, and he'll be forced to deal with a third choice! By then he may think, The Hell with it! I'll just wait until all the repairs are done . . .

of course I love this post. I find animals much more loyal and honest than my own species. I enjoy animal stories, I just enjoy nature.
