This sounds very good.  I have a habit of eating sardines on saltines.  I'll have to try a sandwich.

No I don't like Dill Naut, I'm sure this is a great dish, but I have to gobble mine up quickly before the cat notices. Perhaps with a nice warm tomato from the greenhouse with vinegar and salt and pepper.

I'm not sure what "dill" is but I will check it up. The recipe sounds great and nutritious and will definitely try it. Thank you.

very healthy indeed. Wiley makes us rolls with salmon that he has made into virtually a pate` and it is delicious and nutritious and very good fast food for us...cheap as well.

naut

thank you so much for this recipe, we love sardines and salmon and with bones in.  i remember when my grandmother would make salmon cakes from salmon in the can and she would always let me pick out the bones and eat them.

i will try this and let you know how we liked it.

Well, I'm glad my post inspired you to share this recipe with everyone. But I must admit, as far as a 'sandwich' is concerned, everything sounds good except the sardines! I know, I know, that was the whole point, and I'm sure you enjoy those sandwiches very much! However, I still ain't eatin' anything with bones in it ( or eyes too, for that matter! ) . . .
