You have been busy! And that book sounds interesting! I have been a fan of R.L.S. from the days of my boyhood...

Any way lots of homely news it gives a taste of life out there. Houses are too expensive here to be left empty, fortunately no snakes. Only Eves.

You have indeed been keeping very busy there...There is one house near me in the neighborhood that always seems to be for sale...I will be sure to check that book out.

Sounds like you're quite busy! And fans or no fans, I don't think I could survive a Summer without AC! I hope they get it up and running soon ( before Winter! ). And although stumbling upon that rattlesnake caused somewhat of a panic, I can only imagine how much worse it could have been if you did come upon a few squatters! Some of them don't like to be 'disturbed' ya know . . .

What a great newsy post and I am so happy to read about what you are doing. Such a busy retired girl....I did that, retired from my nursing and then went back working part time for another 5 years or so. But I do hope that you get the A/C organized and also the rattle snake taken care of. Not funny.
