It's great you like your new job! And I too think back to the doggie companions I have known; and where there sometimes is was pain with our human friends, looking back our doggies were just sweetness and light...

Your list of the dogs that have been in your life reminds me of my wife's 'Wall of Fame' concerning her cats ( she has had many throughout the years! ) She has at least one picture of every cat she's ever owned on the wall in the hallway upstairs, and by now, you can hardly see the wall any more! And I hope your need to 'draw up a will' isn't a sign of anything ominous . . .
