I don't think it's necessarily ruining sports, but it is ruining a particular part of the fan base. The days of a player in any sport starting and ending his career with the same team are pretty much over. That's why I really don't get too attached to any player currently playing on the teams I support, because . . . here today, gone tomorrow. I understand the finances involved, but it would be nice to see more players 'sticking it out' and simply staying with their current team . . .

I do not feel free agency is ruining sports. Free agency allows players to get more of the pie and makes for more interesting offseasons.
