I wash all veggies whether it comes from my garden or the green grocer. All sorts of critters are out and about in the night and pickers don't have access to wash basins very often. I do hope you will get some rest and not work so hard in this hot dry weather.

Washing berries or any foodstuff I buy is the first thing done, CCT. Ouch for your cramp - there is no way to rid yourself of it at all? Besides cutting off the foot, I mean. CUte poem - do gnomes tell all and share all?

Next time you sell strawberries, sell the hard candy as well...I always wash the berries I buy, incase the berry pickers reed on them. Never thought of mice.

Re: jeansaw

Well you would not want too many princes strolling around your Garden. Hubby might object.I love growing strawberries ,but I hate picking them, most are waist high as it keeps them nice and clean.

cct

nice that you got more for your strawberrys than what you wanted.....they must have looked so good.  so glad to hear that the cramps have mostly gone.  arthur and you are welcome to come and visit , we could just sit and eat strawberrys and maybe i could get arthur to cook.

liked the poem , it made me smile, thinking of how my projects always go way beyond what i am able to do, but i settle for what i can do and try not to trip doing it.  those gnomes have not made it to my garden yet, i guess to many frogs waiting to be kissed.
