No you are not doing anything wrong. The sad thing is not many make a headway unless they remark on someone else's site. One does not need to say much just Hello or very nice and the recipient will feel obliqued to look at your blog. I know this may be difficult for you and I will ask a friend of mine to give you a remark. It is better to be on Journal at the moment as there are more writers on there.
