Thank you, Pat, for giving credit where credit is due. We often hear about the deadbeats - it's gratifying to read about the others who are making a good difference in this world.

what a wonderful take and I stopped while I was reading this and thought of my Sons. They are both much better parents than their Dad was/is...You have made me feel really good about that. Thank you Love.

Just when it seems all the stories are sad and dire,
the ones that don't make headlines find a voice, and reassure us that there are kids and parents who are making the world a place of joy, who are peopling the world with positive attitudes and the ability to give and teach love.

What a wonderful post. I didn't read the one you deleted, so I can't compare the two, but this one has given credit (and love and gratefulness) where credit if due. That is what Fathers Day is all about. You did good.
