i understand what you are saying taps but the story is written as to what i was feeling in that particular moment...to adapt to the readers is not what writers do...we convey what is going on in that particular moment no matter how painful...and judging by the reactions i am getting i say i did my job conveying it well

This is a very good post. All of us, at times, need to be reminded to remember the feelings of others. Actually, you can tell how your writing is coming across by how the readers respond and can use that as a barometer for any changes that need to be made in your telling of your story.

thank you kabu....all of your reactions was the main reason why I didn't want to share the emails...I was hoping that people would remember from the last time I asked not to say anything negative....sigh....

Sorry ...didn't mean to offend but I think it was because he used that word so much that it sort of caught on. No one would try to hurt you here darling. I guess no one realized that you were still caring for him, that you had really moved on. Again, sorry.
