Oh, Naut... She didn't take a full swing at him, just a kind of glancing backhand. And she did get fired, even though she worked out her contract until the end of the year...

Alfie did not get 'what he deserved!' I came back to check whether that had been a baseball bat - I couldn't believe it, but it was! While I am not in favor of current policies when teachers are afraid even to defend themselves when attacked by a student, that woman's action was outrageous! If I had been his parent, she would have been charged with assault!

I can just see todays headline news and what the Tv would be saying and someone would have it all on smart phone and it would be viral on UTube and twitter and FB....and one kid got a wack and the rest of you all behaved...big deal. I mean she didn't knowck him out or anything. Our singing teacher used to throw things at us!!
