most gluten-free baked goods I've tasted were awful!
If they are around long enough, maybe you could ask your guests to teach/show you one of their own favorite recipes.

You did a good job filling us in on what has happened in the past week.

I'll post the Love Salad recipe - it's a big Quebecois favorite for gatherings, although I expect it is used elsewhere too. In French - Salade d'Amour.

excellent post and I was wondering how our Taps is so it is good to see you here. Do Journals HAVE to be daily??? Once I have to do something that regular, I don't want to do it at all. So...you post when you can cos we love whatever we can have of your company....Oh and little Baisy...how can I ever think of the wee dancing dolly as any other name now.

All kinds of interesting things! I think in summer Alaska would be a great experience, and I'm certainly curious about that 'Blob'...adnohrs vegan salad sounds so good, I think I'll try it myself...And Marianna dancing at two? I know of kids who could barely walk at that age, LOL...And about that stalker - can't she be committed temporarily?

Re: Pat_B
Pray tell, what do gluten-free people eat as bread?....anything?

I really get creeped out by stalkers, I hope the evil one goes and haunts
someplace else. And the gluten-free thing would work with Adnohr's recipes, too, except for the flatbread tortilla - but that one could eat the same stuff as a salad.

Re: adnohr
Thank you so much for the food suggestions. I think I will follow it exactly. What good ideas. Copying it off so I won't forget. I feel much better about it. Love you sweetie.

Anyone I have met who has spent some time in Alaska fell in love with the place, so I expect Dalton will not be sorry for the experience. It's hard to believe that Baisy is already old enough to be dancing ballet (time just flies, doesn't it?) and serve your vegans some fijoles with flatbread and a Love salad (spinach, bean sprouts, rice and cashews, with other cut up veggies and a soya sauce dressing - delicious and filling) and fresh sugared fruit for dessert. The sour note is your sis having to put up with her stalker....something needs to be done there. I guess sis wouldn't consider moving elsewhere?
