Chuck, welcome and thank you! I'm so glad you took the time to read and comment. Your support means a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed the imagery of this one. I enjoyed writing it, though I honestly wasn't thinking of imagery. I was thinking of Ayla and the little things she does that make her up as a person, and that I find unforgettable and adorable. I'm so glad it all came together as well as it did.

I really like this. I've never had the pleasure of having a baby girl, but many years ago I had four baby boys. You definitely have taken me back to that time. I loved being the mother of little ones.

Hi! They really are. When she's driving me crazy, I just think that one day, I'm going to want these years back, and they won't be. So I enjoy every moment, because it's all gone far too fast. I want to pull my hair out sometimes, but when she's five, I'll want her to be one again.
