A few months ago, I would have said J.J. Hardy. He had the offense and the defense. With Hardy's offensive numbers way down, I am not sure.

That's a tough one, because there really are so many excellent shortstops out there. . . Troy Tulowitzki, Hanley Ramirez, Ian Desmond, Jose Reyes, Elvis Andrus, etc. But, I'm gonna be a little biased here and stick with Derek Jeter, regardless of his current numbers.
