we as parents do the best we can....we offer sage advice but it is up to them to decide what is best for them in any given situation.
you can keep second guessing yourself but bottom line it is up to him to reach out for help or anything else....
god bless both of you

Yes dear Pat, Wiley is totally right. Prayer works. It may not work the way you are expecting or hoping but it is powerful. He needs help as you know. If you don't mind I would like to pray for all of you. I know what it is like to be in pain from not knowing what to do for someone you love with all your heart. I lost my only two sons fifteen years apart and my parents in between. I had no brothers and sisters so my daughter and I were it....Pray saved up literally!

It's often that we find our 'Aha!' moments when lying quietly in bed.I'm wondering if Kabu's idea is not a good one? I am happy to hear your daughter is on the mend, Pat-B. One thing at a time is enough for any mother, I would say.

Pat
There appears to be some evidence suggesting a genetic predisposition for depression...But I'm very glad your daughter is doing so well...
