You disappeared off my 'favorites' page...I had to come looking for you. Wonder what happened there? The doc tells we ladies to take Vitamin D when using Calcium supplements, it helps our system absorb the stuff. That poem is brilliant, CCT. One can read it in so many ways...

It's scary and a shame sometimes when certain medications designed to do one thing end up causing something else! My wife takes something to strengthen her bones too, but uses it sporadically. So far no ill side-affects. Perhaps some of that marmalade could be the 'pick-me-up' you need to not feel so tired . . .

i have a few small strawberry plants growing in a wild place, they give tiny little strawberrys and the rabbits like them just fine.
the wild blackberries are gone and we are into blueberry season. have some of both frozen.
cant you just take calcium pills with vitamin D? do you miss your youth?

Seems like you've been working on those tax returns for an awfully long time. But, I'm sure it's much more interesting to be working in the garden among pretty flowers.

I love strawberries Bro but I never did much gardening. I would have been useless on a Kibbutz.

Can't say much about the pills, but I must tell you that I absolutely adore wild strawberries because of their deliciously strong flavour! Unfortunately they're seldomly found in these parts...And your poem is another intriguing, thought-provoking gem...

At times a medicine's side effects are worse than the disease...
Saw in an ad on TV that some of the irritating issues that I'd blamed on being older
than dirt are side effects of the blood thinner. If I'd known I was gonna live this long
I'd have taken better care of myself.Â

Thank you Justi in Winter we can snuggle up and stay in the warm, but when the sun shines it seems a shame not to do those odd little jobs that keep cropping up. I hope you feel better, we all want to do what we once did but it does not work out like that.Â

Re: Strawberries are very good for you!
Ciel sadly when on my rounds I keep picking the strawberries and eating them, so I dare not have extras ,although your sound tasty.

Yes I have seen it Kabu you did a good job planting it . My worry for Archie is that the Council will try to stop his enterprise, but others are lying back getting paid for doing nothing. It is a strange set up. Well the little guest house has a four poster bed. Can't be bad.

well I have put in a not very good picture of my Pussy Willow cos the Gophers don't eat that!!. and it seems to enjoy living here with us.
I too would buy the home made Jams and Marmalade if i had a B&B Guests think that they are back in Ye Olde England...and having an experience from the past with fresh flowers a pot of tea toast and home made Marmalade or such. I do love a nice fresh Devonshire tea myself.

Strawberries are very good for you!
I like mine dipped in chocolate. Sliced with honey drizzled over, then set in the fridge for a while, is great over... anything berries are good over.
