Believe it or not, I did fall into that three times a charm. Totally exhasted, exasperated, and embarrassed about bringing it forward agan, this time I simply worked the stick out of my window and opened the window. Having been able to do so, I now have a new concern. I think the dowel shape of the stick makes it too easy for another long stick to lift. I will have to change it.

lucky for you that they came out...most apt complexes wouldn't do that for you...call a locksmith on your dime!

Yeah, that sounds like a pain, but whatever you do, don't fall to the idiom that 'three times the charm!' Two was bad enough! Perhaps it's time to make another spare key for yourself and hide it where only you know where it is . . .
