Oh I agree and I had to work through those thoughts when I was studying. I did enjoy munching on the thought of the ID though and all that implied. Especially helped me to deal with teenagers who are so dreadfully focused on themselves and their own needs.

Kabu, at times all unconscious material seems like rot. Those were the male times tho. Before our generation demanded and got respect for minorities and women. The 60's weren't for nothing.

gosh, it is so long since I read this stuff and had to learn it for an exam. Funny I had the exact same reaction to the penis envy thing as I did all those years ago. Utter rot that had to be written by a male. A simple way to dismiss all female distress!! Hey good luck with the exam and this stuff is well put together here and I actually enjoyed my classes even if i did get heated at times.

stop! my heads going to explode...I tood this in college as well...almost got my psych degree until i found out i had to work a year as intern without pay or another job...who can do this with 4 kids?
