Re: Re: Kabu

None of my garden at this stage anyway, seems to have much scent.

Well, your heart was in the right place. But sometimes, if you're not up for a bit of company, you're not up for a bit of company! And maybe it's better that you can't hear others clearly! Probably a lot less headaches that way . . .

Re:dsm tchr

Well DSM I think they really come from the refuse pits about five miles away. They have been noticeable by there absence for years, but I just thought, for the last year  or so food has been recycled in seperate containers. It was probably easy pickings for the starlings before that as it just used to go into the refuge bins and dumped on the pit. I don't want the young ones to hang out here.

Re: Use the wine for cooking if it's not to your taste for sipping....

Good thinking Pat, I usually try it and give it to my sister if I think it is not up to par.

What I am worried about is that if I encourage the starlings they will hang around and eat the fruit.

Re: BC -A

Goodness do you have to pay for that BILL, One has to put olive oil in the ear for a ten days or so and then the nurse gives one a squirt out free of course and anything else you desire Sir?

Re: Kabu

I have found that Gazanias do not stand the cold very well, the ones in the tunnel are miles ahead of the ones outside, next year, I shall plant them later. Two that seem to be doing OK Are a strong growing corn flower and the love in the mist. The little white pinks in the tunnel are scented, so that's a bonus and the one white sweet-pea that is blooming is also.

Re: FS

Well some doctors don't bother FS . Not many wines I really like only one or two that I have no idea how to spell.

Re: Jeansaw

Good idea, Jean no good waiting until you drop , I had polymyalgia for six months and kept thinking it was rheumatics. A blood test showed the problem.

cct

well i have finally made a doc appt, just for a check up.  i am like you i do not know how i am suppose to feel, i have never been this old before.  but i am feeling achy, and get worn out easily so thought i would try something new and see a doc.

starlings, i am not sure i have any.  but i agree they have to survive too.  i cannot just  feed whom i like, i would feel guilty.  i let the birds and bugs share in my garden, and i am still getting all i want.

nice of you to send chocolates instead of taking a cold to them, good show.

Harry James often gets told to come back to the doctors in X amount of time...I hope that cold goes away...I remember when Steve Redder bought wine for tailgating and nobody drank it.

very pretty they are too. I planted some out myself yesterday but today is too cold to move out of the house. I disagree Starlings shouldn't have any rights. They would survive a Nuclear blast I think.

Use the wine for cooking if it's not to your taste for sipping....

I'm glad to hear the doc gave you the all-clear.

Starlings! Well, they're certainly survivors, but they're not my favorite...

CCT

An all-clear from the doc is always good news, even if it's  murky, LOL...And you can always keep the cheap wine for another 'gifting' occasion, and get yourself a nice Chateau Margaux...
