I find myself so in agreement with this post you must feel the hug I am sending you. I think all these Gov. inquiries and deliberations is a complete waste of money that could be a start on the commonsense that you have written here.

I've been watching what's been going on with the VA and the VA hospitals from this side of the border and, for once departing from my principle of not commenting on the current administration's domestic policies, I'll just say - appalling...

I agree....someone posted a comment by a politician something along the lines of If we aren't going to take care of our veterans then we shouldn't go to war. I wholeheartedly agree!

There are those who want to remember, with honor,
and those for whom Memorial Day is a sop to feed the conscience that otherwise might wake up and cry out truths they do not want to deal with.
The system you speak of excels at shaping and polishing weapons, including the men and women who go to war, but after they are used, all those weapons are simply discarded as scrap.
