Re: Naut,
Happy and just a touch alarmed... I also notice a difference in the two after-shots, one taken by his dad, one by me. For one thing, looking at those two pictures, I am suddenly aware I am shorter than either of them. But he has a different look on his face that also reflects the relationships he has with each of us.

Re: FormerStudentIntern.
Happy, proud and just a bit alarming as Real Life looms...

Re: Pat,
Never did find out who he was other than one of the marshals of the event. So I will always think of him as Prof. Dumbledore. "Matriculamus!"

Re: TAPS,
I enjoyed looking at the faces of the profs and the representatives of the University, so happy and welcoming these graduates into the 'community of scholars.'
Of course, in the same breath as welcoming them as alumni, they were putting out a plea not to be financially forgotten. I heard a few words to the effect of: You have got all my money already, to the tune of $60,000 in student loans.
I thought maybe the several plugs for donations might have gone out in a letter next week, or with diplomas which will actually not be sent out until August.

People always look so complete and happy at graduations--then they have to start all over again at something. Charlie looks ready to do something great.
