Nothing better than daydream

I had a dream like that...

deep green woods, thick carpets of moss, breezes and sunlight slanting through... no other houses close by... mine to play with. Birds singing, butterflies and dragonflies flitting...

One day, when I still lived in Olympia, WA, I realized I had all that! But I had not recognized it because of the wet moss being not sittable, the breeze carrying the scent of recently manured fields a mile away, and the mosquitoes.

Sometimes Reality gives more than we dream for.

Re: CCT

You talk about a tranquil and beautiful place in summer light and I am reminded of Swanage,we went there from Bournemouth.Swanage was just out of this world.

Well I hope you have things that we might long for . The green grass grows so quickly here in spring that one has to mow it weekly. I will try and show some flowers soon again. I do know places like you envisage, tranquil and beautiful in summer light. Alas I have never had the time to enjoy.
