Well, hopefully it doesn't get as bad as you might be anticipating! You never know. Maybe a change in scenery would help those lads! However, it is a bit much to be asking your son to suddenly be a 'father figure' to total strangers! I hope he isn't a drinker . . .

It certainly isn't good news yet one hopes that they won't disturb the peaceful neighborhood and keep to themselves.

taps,
if i were in your shoes i would be a bit concerned too. but worry never makes a bit of difference. i doubt they are that bad if they have been living at home with mom, and it was moms idea they move out, as they might still be there if she didnt want them out.....
boys that want to stick close to mom cant be all that bad.

I would be buying out from under them ASAP...who needs to take on something like that and how dare she assume someone else will pick up her mess. Phil. doesn't need this either. Damn just when things look to be going well something happens.

I would be leery as well. Hopefully, those people will work out or someone else will.

Re: C_C_T
Right now Son is all involved in gardening, yard maintenance and changes, and tearing down the deck he now has and building a new one. He is always changing things at his house and yard. There is always something new to look at when I go over there.

I would try and buy it Taps it would be a good investment. Sadly you would also have the privilege well your son would have bringing the property up to standard which might be expensive.

That does not sound like good news! Let's just hope Pat's right that they're just lazy louts, but otherwise decent guys...

Nice of the mother to give your son a warning...
I'd be more likely to think those three lazy guys are drinking beer or smoking pot and playing video games till the cows come home every night and then sleeping all day. Sounds to me like typical "failure to launch" guys who've had it so good at home they never grew legs or took steps to look for their grownup selves.

Good luck to them all!
I always think it is a good thing to check out the neighbors before buying into a neighborhood. She seems to have gotten that cart ahead of the horse.
