It didn't trouble me as I have heard it a lot.  My KC Sis worked for years for a Jewish man who used a lot of Yiddish words and she kept a list of them and shared them with us.

I love the Yiddish words. They always seem so perfect. Mensch is one of my favorites.

Thanks for the foreign language lesson. I've never heard that one before. I believe the only Yiddish word I may use from time to time is tchotchke, used to describe the various 'dust-collectors' my wife has displayed around the house. Others prefer to use bric-a-brac, but tchotchke is funnier sounding to me, and I do love those funny sounding words . . .

It is funny Naut people use a lot of words that I cannot find a trace of , perhaps they remember them from parents. Like the cag of a mag, reminds me I saw a word  you used  and I could not find it anywhere, I can't go back and look for it as it wipes this comment off to do so. Interesting though.
