First I think I would need to know if it was abandoned because it was stuck! If I thought the person was having a problem, I would try to lend a hand. But if I saw no one around and just saw the abandoned car, I would wait to see if someone returned to it, or else a tow truck showed up. Either way, I probably wouldn't over-react, and assume the worse . . .

My problem is I can be so deep in a thought that the bomb may have blown it to pieces before I took much notice.

Vechicles parked for a time without attendance make one feel a bit wary Bill.

I would rather eat a live frog than a dead one at least I would know it was not out of date,

DC

I imagine that I would call the police. I guess in Baltimore, they would dial 311, which is for lesser emergency things. Of course, though, if the vehicle is a danger, then 911 should be dialed.
