Jimmy you are so right. Taking good care and loving a pet is the idea. Having children or not, isn't the question. The question is how we lead our lives. And I suspect you lead a very productive live with lots of love. Good for you.

Well, as you've said, things change with each generation, and your list could go further, but there's probably no need. My wife and I don't have any children, and it appears we never will, but we do have several cats, and they really are extensions of ourselves! I actually enjoy each and every one of them, and of course they are indeed spoiled! But they're very happy, and that makes my wife and I very happy. Nothing wrong with that at all! Sometimes it's the simple pleasures . . .
