I could not keep the shoes or sandals on one of my Grandsons when he was three. This made me think of him and smile.

I used to love the cold wet sand and soft foamy waves washing over
my toes. And to breathe in the salt air, to see it sparkle on my skin at
the end of the day - before the flesh softened and I had granny curtains
on my upper arms.
