We heard that same sound recently too. And we're still getting 'frost adviseries' on certain nights, and are being warned to bring plants inside. I thought it was Spring! What's Mother Nature doing to us . . . ?

Re: jeansaw,
Roses have thorns, which makes them no less lovely.

One thing friends do is trade flowers and seeds.

I do not recall ever having to scrape ice off my windshield near May.

You wonderful friend. What a gift you are to blogit. I just love this concept.
These are for you symbolizing flowers from my own internal garden.

Being a garden is quite a delicious analogy...
I have singing frogs in mine.

Re: You may wander in my garden,
I know you have a healthy respect for flowers.
I may be sorta eduficated, but I'm not sure I qualify as smart. I keep planting money-tree but I never seem to get rich.
And I don't know what 'too old' is.

You are right Ciel I know I could not lead you down the garden path. You are too smart and I am too old. Anyway it takes about three years on blogit to really be accepted. I was
often chastised at times for perhaps being too familiar and even blocked twice or nearly by one sweet lady, who probably does not remember. Of course it may have been my clone he does not do much gardening but is full of ideas.
