What a post. My schools are gone now too. Grade school stands empty, abandoned. High school was demolished and a new modern one built. My city is still here but is so different than I remember, especially my old neighborhoods. Guess what, I look very different also. LOL

My first school a tiny country one room is long abandoned and is falling down while my boarding school was renamed and then badly run and is gone as well. Life goes on, things and peoples whole societies just disappear as other things evolve.nice post that set me thinking. Well done.

Wow! That's actually amazing! Somewhat sad, but still amazing. To be honest, I've never gone to any of my high school reunions ( I believe the most recent one was my 35th ). There's just no one I wish to see, and I really don't feel like answering the same questions all night long. But at least my old school is still there, as is my old town! No, I wouldn't want any of it to be connected with the words ghost or abandoned . . .
