Re: Thanks, Annicita!
It's more fun when you get beyond the traditional dying and start thinking of the art of it. Or the doodling possibilities.

Re: Re: Re: CCT,
I haven't seen a whole robin's egg outside of a collection. Just the shells after the little chicks have hatched out, and half the shell ends up on the ground.

Re: Re: CCT,
We used to do that with birds eggs, well all the boys collected them. Of course there were more birds around then. Poor little unborn Robins.

So much talent. These are lovely and would sell at the markets AND you get to keep the egg, only using the shell. How clever. And they are pretty and i love the trees for really love painting old trees.

Re: CCT,
I punch a hole at the top and a hole at the bottom, and blow the white and yolk out. If I am not going to cook them right away, I blow the egg into an aluminum cupcake liner, and freeze them to use later.
Goose eggs would be fun to paint. Or those greenish duck eggs. The fish would look nice on a blue egg... I would have to have tiny, tiny markers to paint fish on robin eggs!

I like the tree with the silver splashes I clicked it and it has a red star, but what doee do with the yolkels. A woman round here used to want our goose eggs she painted them and put them on a stand my Mum had one for years. The fish was nice if it could have had a pale blue background, what do you think.

Re: Pat,
Thanks! I want to try more fishy scenes.
Lithops... so sweet! And they come in so many kinds! Would cactus and lithops grow well outdoors there? Lithops like a very particular kind of climate with a particular kind of rainfall, so I've read.

They're very cool and unusual. Like the fish best.
Also liked the photos of the lithops - almost bought a couple and some other cactus to
place where the vandalized tulips were. Let 'em grab hold of a cactus and see how that
does their grubby paws.
