I honestly cannot remember much happening at Easter Pat, sweet rationing put a damper on chocolate eggs. I don't think boys too much notice of fashion until we got our
long-uns . Your Mum must have been a good cook. Jokes abounded about Spam.

That wasn't a fun time with Ma in law, my first marriage was ugly with a pedophile FIL we had to keep our kids away from all the time unless one of us was guarding them.

For some reason my Mom never went for that Easter bonnet thing, though she did like buying plenty of hats, LOL...But we did have that honey-mustard glazed ham with cloves - I loved it and still do! And Happy Easter!

I remember the white straw bonnets
and the frilly dress and the little basket, once we got home, to put the found eggs.
Spring in California, before it got hot...
