quite a story, sometime we find it hard to tell the truth because of fear what will happen and find out more often than not, it is not as bad as we feared.

very lucky I should say and they both had you in a horrible position...to remain friends you were expected to lie for them. i think the teacher understood that, did not want to make it difficult for you.
