Hopefully it's not an ominous sign . . .

Re: Kabu

Thank you for all your support for my haiku attempts.  I like doing it but wasn't sure how it would go over.

It is a wonder and I love to see the order of the Universe and know that mostly we cannot control anything. Puts us mortals in their place. I also love to look at something like this and think how the ancient people may have felt.

I find your Haiku is an absolute gift to us all. Every one you write has my head spinning.

There doesn't have to be a mystery for it to be a wonder.

And that it actually isn't a mystery, scientifically sorted and all, it still remains a wonder.

TAPS

It's a lunar eclipse! The Moon is in the Earth's shadown and its reddish tinge is the result of the fact that the light that does get around has to penetrate Earth's atmosphere! It's physics or 'celestial mechanics', and there's no additional mystery here, over and above the deep mystery of the whole Universe...

I am a fan of space and its mysteries. It shows the power of the Creator of the universe.

What the blood moon means to me is that nature is a wonderment,

and even when you've seen "everything" there's always another mystery.

Such omens are what we want them to be.

Yes in time for passover. All blood moons that have ever been were on or right at a Jewish Holy Day. The other three scheduled are doing the same thing.
