This prevalent here more than one would believe. Insiders get away with much. Outsiders are scrutinized and not afford the same rights of a group or entity. The speech test is there and any words that do not bode well from an outsider is disastrous. An outsider must keep silent and make no waves.

Very interesting post and surprising as it may be, I've done some reading about atheism. It certainly has caused me to identify with Mother Theresa somewhat, when she doubted the faith she lived all her life, before she died. I confess to that same feeling about it all, must be  old age.

Actually all Universities should be places for exploring, growing, questioning and becoming one's own thinking person. Also I do believe mostly in the separation of religions and State...that is until it gets to Christmas when I want All the traditions that I grew up with and love as a freedom for Christians....

It will be interesting to see what the fallout is from his decision...I do not see things boding well for education in the United States either.
