actually if I am honest, I enjoy the challenge of the garden. It is so different here to Australia, every year is a big learning curve.

i love that idea of a path to nowhere.  it was so cold here this year i lost a bout  half of my landscape plants.  the nursery will love me this year.might take me 2 to replace all. and now i hear tomorrow night will break record lows.  out come the blankets.

i got some of my neighbors chicken poop and he told me to dilute it with water, lol , i am using fish fertilizer now, wow talk about stinky.  lol my husband told me even after i washed up that i smelled.

I am eager to get outside too, but maybe just replanting this year, Oh and one more digging landscape thing. I want to dig and pebble a path that goes no where.

Yes, gardening can be very therapeutic! I too find myself thinking a lot and talking to myself a lot while I'm mowing the lawn! It's amazing the things that come to you during those moments . . .

Well JS. I did some weeding I pulled half a bin of stinging nettles up and poured water on them. It is supposed to make good fertilizer , last year I made some and it was such a stink I poured it away.
