Re:
Well in those days Adnohr there was no benefits for people like Ted and he actually lived in an old hut that was used in the first war as a make shift mortuary for airmen on an old aerodrome. I expect if it was not for him doing odd work for my old Aunt he would have not survived long. Although she did make him do jobs and grumbled at him if he was late for duty.

Well she has nice hands and says. 'I love doing this as she pushes a scalpel down the side of ones big toe. 'Please don't get tense.' she says, try to relax your foot. 'Oh! look I have a lovely little sharp piece of nail it was growing sideways into your toe. let me get my special tweezers and grab the other piece by the roots. I could go Jimmy keep yer nails cut.

Re:
Well Taps you might find one in a garden center . My S.I.L's parents had one in the same pot for thirty years so it worked out cheaper in the long run.

Re: Flowers are an ever-sweet moment
Yes Ciel I must show you the pots of them each year I think shall I give these away?
I know though it would need someone dedicated to keep them going,

Flowers are an ever-sweet moment
detached from annoyances and frustrations and aches and pains... They just sit, sweet and pretty, despite all else. Thank you for sharing your flowers!

I loved reading everything here except for the news about your poor toe. And the beautiful flowers are just wonderful. I was at the flower stall of the market yesterday and I looked for some of those kind of flowers. I was going to buy me a pot of them, but I could not find any here.

I am glad to read that your toe is doing better...It is interesting reading about how things were back in 1940. The history major in me loves that.

I am most intrigued by your plan of working on your belly buttons - how many do you have? And as always I love your wartime story...

I guess those 'cotton swabs' are useless on your FIL. Just be careful they don't blow too hard into those ears! We want eveything to remain intact! And just what did that chiropodist do to put you out of your misery that didn't involve that bottle of wine . . . ?
