Pat Sadly but for time difference I could have maybe dragged you back to a happy state . I remember eating beans for a Christmas dinner once . I must admit there were four wee sausages in the tin. The key to happiness has to be forged each day.

Love your response. I get lots of little bites way too often. In response to your comment, I got out a little dish of rhubarb/apple/ginger compote that I made. So good and sweet/tart. A scoop of vanilla ice cream would have been perfect on it but none was handy.

and the laundry will be better then, too as you'll have more to wash and thus conserve water. Better far to eat beans in the kitchen than get hit by a falling tree on your way to a really nice lunch. (isn't it?)
