Ugh - don't like getting up in the morning with something unpleasant on the agenda. I'm sure you can tell Nola in a way that will make your point...firmly but nicely.

I say that is diplomatic and assertive.

Every one should clap and cheer her on every occasion . No we can't be cruel she probably means well. We don't know what pressure she is under in her private life.

Good advice, y'all. I will keep it together and be nice.

I didn't spend 30 years of boot camp (raising kids) for nothin.'

Pat

I still think a friendly 'off-stage'(!) chat (at Starbucks or some such place) might be an occasion to make Nola understand...

Re: Maybe that is exactly what Miss Nola needs to be told.

Aside, in private, but that direct. Well, maybe not quite that direct, but to the point. She probably thinks she is helping, that her input is wanted and appreciated. That it makes her feel good to know more than everyone else is probably. from her view,  hidden behind some belief everyone sees quality the way she does. and that she is helping them all attain it.

Rain is really coming down here this morning...flooding the southern parts of the city.  News says three firefighters are in the water trying to rescue someone.  I think I'll just stay in today.  I was supposed to have mid-afternoon meal at La Bodega but I just begged off.  This is a hibernating-type day for me.
