Sure it can, as long as it has been kept properly 'fridgerated.

Re:

A. you don't have to love cabbage, try tenderstem broccoli dipped in butter and taters roasted in duck fat, with a goat cheese and spinach omelet.

Re: Jimmy

Yes Jimmy when I complete my new project vegetables will squeak and squeal when being prepared for the supermarket, of course they will be very subdued when on sale.

I expect more folk will follow your method with gusto.

Re:Ceil

I'm thinking of not eating at all until I feel ravenous. I expect that is how cave men ate.

Professional people suggest how to eat healthily but those who used to did not live as long as we uns. Ciel are you sure that food can be heated up for three days running?

I must admit, when I was younger, I was a 'fussy eater,' and vegetables were not very high on my list of favorite foods. But since I married a vegetarian, I've eaten more vegetables in the last 10 years or so than I did my entire life! And I must admit, I think I'm a heck of a lot healthier than ever! Plus, I've lost 50 lbs.! Yes, there certainly is a lot to be said about consuming more vegetables . . .

When I want a tasty meal I don't have to prepare,

and have a bit of extra cash, I order in from a particular Chinese place that makes very good mushu with nice big prawns curled up in a bed of veg.  It all gets wrapped up in a dainty little thing like a thin tortilla, with a bit of hoisin sauce and some green onion. The mouth likes it very much, and it is still pretty wholesome. And there is usually enough that it lasts three meals.

Re: Best advice I ever heard about doctors... (it was a joke, I think)

I agree mostly Pat , but someone has to sign the form for the pills. I usually book up my appointment a month in advance it saves a lot of aggro.

Re: Jollyjeff

Who wants to be happy Jeff. It only makes one feel moody afterwards. To be honest though I have to admit a lettuce does give a little cry of anguish when topped.

Re: C.C.

ves I have a microwave Bro but it is in the Garage so I hardly ever use it, I sort of fancy scrunching through a healthy meal, but that kind of fare never looks very appealing today's the day.

C.C.

I am sorry about Archie and his condition, I'm not doing well yet with my left foot, I hope you made yourself a nice meal. I mostly eat those microwave meals, Lean Cuisine, always seem to have lot's of veggies and quick to prepare Bro.

It's against my religion to eat vegetables

I believe God loves me and wants me to be happy. Eating broccoli does not make me happy

I am not surprised by the results of the study. Hopefully, more people eat their greens...Sun deflector sounds very intriguing.

I occasionally think about becoming a proper vegetarian, but unfortunately those thoughts are never very pleasant, so I dismiss them quickly...

Best advice I ever heard about doctors... (it was a joke, I think)
