Chronic pain, especially nurve pain is mindboggling. I finally got some relief with Lyrica, but it has its special gifts that are not so desirable. You spoke for me, thanks, wish my Doc could read it. He says that pain will be my constant companion. YOU ROCK FOR BEING HONEST

As one who has lived with this disease for 17 years I can tell you this is a wonderful post. You have said to me "It is okay to be you in front of others who are like you." The only trouble is we have to wear so many faces as you so beautifully states we don't know one another until it has such a hold on us we can't hide it. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Wonderful words, wonderful thoughts, wonderful sentiments. Home is where the heart is. For my wife and me ( and our cats ) it is our sanctuary indeed. Keep a stiff upper lip . . .

Hope it made you feel better, quite nice and revealing. I have have had to go back to 5mg steroids as I was feeling weaker. I shall try to cut them back soon. This is the second time I have had polymyalgia, so much for the doctor saying it does not come back. Keep your chin up.
