I feel ya! I literally never would have picked one up, but it was just desserts because I push my Stephen King habit on her so once in a while she asks me to read one of her godforsaken romances

I'm sorry . . . I just don't see myself ever reading those books! I do like to read, and do like a variety of topics, but someone's 'fantasy' about possible romances just isn't on the list . . .
