I rather like JimmaA's comment and agree that there is nothing new here except some of those a-holes learned some technology and flew a couple of aircraft for a few minutes and crashed them in to the Twin Towers. They will come to their end in God's time.

In that case I would put the reporters in the same bracket as 'moderate' Muslims. All just as guilty with turning their heads as those actually doing the slaughter.

Ibrahim is spot on with his assessment, I feel. If more people had access to your blog and the writers you have shared with us, this country's perception of Islam would be way different.

In a way, it appears to me that all you're really relaying is a diatribe on the history of Earth! These things have been going on literally for centuries, and it seems that almost every group has been in the 'driver's seat' at one time or another. This group picks on these people, that group picks on those people; and then, a couple of hundred years later, that group picks on these people and this group picks on those people! The entire human race needs a 'time out!' As for the media coverage of these events, don't even get me started on the obvious bias and ineptitude of some of our news agencies . . .

We know more than they believe we do. We are under more attack in an off handed manner right here at home than most would believe. Also we have so many groups called Christian rather than real Book Christians it is not possible to bond well. Also the Bible has all of this cataloged well. We expect it with a great falling away due to fear. For a great part we are neither ignorant or unaware, on the other hand there are those that give these terms new meaning.
