Re:

No Ciel I prefer the little doves that eat the shelled sunflower seeds. They seem more tasty.Well the clothes do seem to fit into my crinkly skin better these days. Life is full of surprises.

So no pigeon pie?  Crinkled clothes are comfy.

Perhaps that is the sign of finding the 'perfect mate' . . . someone who not only excepts you for who you are, but doesn't mind washing out a pair of socks for you once in a while!

Well you completed a lot today: Home repairs, a few tips on how to or how not to grab a mate then we got an exercise in homemaking on ironing versa just hanging out. Well I enjoyed it all, but the most exciting was the pretty whirly gig on the chimney. I have missed reading you for a few days I will catch up. Be blessed.

Re: At my work, on the third floor, the outside walls

Yes a shame really Pat something could have been  fixed to prevent it happening. Perhaps an imitation dangling hawk.

ChiffChaff

Well I had a crow come down my chimney once and sat on the clothes line I had strung there, gave me time to shoot him 'cuz he wouldn't leave. Now that Kabu runs things I don't need that line anymore, she uses the dryer and won't shoot anything anyway. But the cap I put on isn't as global as yours Bro.

At my work, on the third floor, the outside walls

were floor-to-ceiling windows, and the only solid structures were the corner posts. Probably looked to birds like regularly spaced tree trunks with clearings between.  Consequently we often had birds crash into the window and lie broken-necked on the ledge until the wind or a scavenger took them away.

Re:

Yes good thinking FS I suppose you could paste a hawk on the window if you want more light. I think it is probably the younger birds that do this because they were usually dead if they hit my windows but it has not happened for some time now. Perhaps the double glazing deters them.

Re: CTT

Well I have to wear socks Naut or my heels get chapped. I seem to remember you walk around without  them not in the snow surely. I suppose you guys are tougher in Canada . Don't take anything seriously that I write on this page, I am usually falling asleep.

CTT

It's very unselfish of you to forego free fried pigeon by putting that thing on your chimney top...And that soul business is tricky - I find the view is always obstructed by other things before the eyes even have a chance to see the soul...And tell Arthur the best thing is not to bother with socks at all - I don't, they're just a stupid affectation...

I try most always to keep a sense of humor when commenting to other bloggers.  Sometimes I have a feeling that I am not serious enough.

At my living room window, which is large, birds used to fly into it years ago when my grandmother had the house. I think the reason why they stopped is because her bushes have risen up in front of the lower part. I have maintained the bushes at that length for that reason.
