Phelps was the guy who got his gang of haters to picket GI funerals, declaring that God killed the soldiers as vengeance against the increasing tolerance of gay rights in our society. If he was a torch bearer on gay rights, it was so he could burn them down.

That would be a fine thing... I try to remember, when I make my choices every day. But I don't, always. I hope, overall, though, that I come out on the Light side.

yes I read on fb from one of my friends that he passed and was quite the torch bearer on gay rights

You do an excellent job of analyzing Phelps and explaining the fear and hatred that guide those types of people...Hopefully, more people will start choosing to follow the light.
