Ugh, yes. I feel the same about elections, and we have one of those coming up here in Quebec too. I'd rather use my time to do the Meals on Wheels work.

Election times are always interesting. Our primaries in Maryland are in June...It seems nowadays that all politicians are "one of them."

Sounds familiar - it looks like we're heading into Provincial (that would be your 'State') elections this year. Our system is different in that the time and dates are less narrowly defined, everything else is pretty much the same. Let's just hope your gorgeous candidate is not a purveyor of Empty Rhetoric, Bombast, Molehill to Mountain, Shady Accusations, Unprovable Allegations...
