I think I'll go take a nap.  Thinking about all of this makes my head hurt.

I suppose the man in the street needs to feel better off, but it rarely happens whatever the outcome. Not many feel like fighting for someone to live more comfortable, we have tried that too often.

We do have the worst president in the history of our country without any doubt. I do remember hearing there was not a way to vote against the outcome on the ballot. There were choices but not a no vote possible. We have so much to clean up I can't see the president making another statement about anything or drawing lines. He is a clown at best.

So far, almost everything I've seen or read leads me to believe that we should have basically ignored this scenario altogether! Now they're saying that those elections were purposefully 'skewed.' Who knows? Either way, it seemed apparent that the bulk of those Crimean citizens wanted to rejoin Russia! We should simply stay out of it! Yes, Obama has no idea what he's doing when it comes to foreign policies! Can you imagine if some country were to now declare war on us, for some reason? ( i.e. "The Mouse That Roared" ) God help us all . . .

I am a bit confused by the U.S.'s stance here.

If we want democracy and government of/by/for the people, then why are we kvetching when the majority in another country votes to do a thing in a democratic procedure? Why is it anyone else's business what one sovereign nation decides to do within its own borders? (Unless, of course, they're sending agents out to attack other nations.)

I cannot tell you how good it is to know that there are those out there who still have the ability to see the truth. It seems all we are hearing about down here on the Obama networks is the scattered thoughts of just where that lost plane might be. I doubt very much if the average American voter even knows this is happening. And to answer Bill, yes it was a part of Russia, just as the Philippians once belonged to the U.S. and I doubt the world would be silent if we sent troups there to take it back.

Nautikos

I made a comment in Google making the same kind of remarks, it's a fait accompli already and most of the people involved are Russians anyway. I think some folks are looking at Adolph Putin as the other guy of that same first name, and that is a huge mistake. I pray for once the west will do nothing, the U.S.A. or even Canada should back off and not get anymore of their citizens killed in another war

I do not see this panning out for Obama as well...Unfortunately, all of his foreign policy blunders have fallen on deaf ears, and he has been challenged by poor candidates.
