One theory I heard this morning: pilot suicide.
I don't think anybody has anything but speculation, but they're certainly giving the two pilots' background a thorough going-over.

Well It would be good news in a way if it is in the hands of someone at least the passengers have a half chance. People soon forget it has been tried before.
