Re:
Thanks, TAPS. I knew that others would find such a scenario both pleasing and easy to relate to. Now I too can picture my mom going for a casual stroll, wrapped in my dad's jacket. Very special indeed . . .

Re:
Thanks so much, Justi. I was hoping to touch people with a tale such as this. My mom has already confided in me that she does indeed have almost-daily chats with my dad, and I'm sure this 'find' will bring them even closer together. This time my dad's passing did not come up in conversation at all, and it's probably just as well. My mom sounds content right now, and I am never one to 'rock the boat' . . .

Re:
Will do, Utah, and thanks. I have no doubts that each of us in here have had similar experiences of our own, whenever we come across such an item. How can we not? This one certainly warmed my mom . . .

Re:
Thanks, FSI. It is indeed. I had to assume that this would be one of those kinds of tales that almost anyone could relate to. There are probably many surprises waiting for us in the back of our own closets . . .

Oh I love that. I can just imagine how wonderful it is to her as she strolls along the Avenue she will chat with your dad and they will enjoy the walk so much more. Lovely story of love and joy even with sadness thrown in it ends up pleasantly. I do love it.

A heart warming entry I find this to be...It is neat to think of what one might come across.
