Hmmm . . . curiouser and curiouser, as we plod along. Once again, I understand completely what you're saying, and your suggestion(s) make absolute sense. If I read you correctly, you're saying that we should try to get the Muslims to tire of their own ideology from within, to see that some of their standards are indeed ridiculous, show them that there doesn't have to be such restrictions and limitations on their lifestyle, and that a unification of human beings is far better than separatism or domination. However, there's one big drawback that would undermine such efforts: groups like the ACLU, and other Liberal fronts, who would claim that you're 'infringing' on these people's rights ( although groups like the ACLU never bother to look at the 'big picture' ). There's already been a couple of incidences where certain Muslims in certain countries were asked to remove their burkhas or change their attire or adhere to certain regulations. And what happened? They fought back, once again claiming that their civil rights were being violated. Now, if we can just get the judges in these cases to stand firm, and if we can just get the people in these countries to totally back up such affirmations, then we'd be on to something . . .

In theory, the U.S. is supposed to separate church and state,

which means we should leave all the religious teachings out of schools, out of public policy, out of the halls of Congress, etc. But it got real controversial real fast when they started taking plaques containing the ten commandments out of public buildings and forbidding menorahs or manger scenes during the holidays. So much easier to talk about "Live and let live" than to actually do it. As for the Muslim attempt at converting the infidels, I don't see that happening, even by force. Anyone can say they're a believer in this or that magic - but how they play with others is the key.

I agree with your conclusion to a point, but not to the decline of Christianity, at least that which I practice. In the days of Christ, who at that time was the leader of the church on earth, and he had 12 friends to help, their job, their only job, and His too, was to teach the gospel. That is exactly how my church is set up, just as in the days of Christ, and we are gaining well over a million converts a year. We are now the forth largest church in the United States. Now I know that this post was not about that, but rather how to control the believes of Muslim immigrants by making them uncomfortable in their believes, which we both know that is not going to happen in this day and age of socialism and the modern liberal, but have no fear, what Justi said at the end of her comment, will happen.

The last three paragraphs (your answer) is very interesting and makes so much sense.  So give us some ideas on how to do that.

Thank you and I agree with your suggesting we stop, stop and immediately stop accomodatig them. However, having said that they will be destroyed!

The refusal to accomodate these Islamists in order to reform is a great idea you have there, Naut.

Nautikos

It would seem that in other countries like England, they survive off the welfare system, living off the incomes of the population. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you wrote about that  previously, or was it just in Macleans? Why can we not forbid entrance to Canada to people that look like they are coming to live off the system?
