- Go to Alabama House Passes Tough Abortion Ban
Both sides of the abortion-coin make my heart hurt. So much sadness in our world.

I am neither for or against abortion, for the most part. Saying that, I must also say that there have been more abortions in this country than all of those killed on the nations highways since the advent of Mr. Ford's automobile. More than all the nations war dead in all of the nations wars since the French and Indian War. More than all of those killed in airplane accidents world wide. In fact, more than all of these combined. Saying that, I certainly do not want it to be the way it was when I was 20 and women went to Mexico or some back room, like my girlfriend did, even though I begged her to let my family love 'her' child. It is a hard subject for me to be objective about as you can see, but I do not want the law changed, but in the same breath, I also want the 10th Amendment supported as it will not be like that in every state and in my thinking, Florida is a lot better option than Mexico, or some back room. Thank you so much for your comment today and I hope that we can agree and disagree respectfully and still be friends. U.J.

That story will just never go away I think. Seems like we ought to be passing laws to make religion illegal or something.

Well sometimes it is an awful experience that only a woman can feel, you will always get some screwed up person deliberating about others. If a woman feels it is wrong for her she should be able to rectify the problem rather than endure the suffering. Just my view of course. I know there is a a lot of emotional backlash to this situation and I might be wrong.

They know they can't outlaw abortion
so they are doing what they can to make it impossible to get one

Well, aside from the odd setback, overall the freedom to abort has been as huge success. Look at the birth rates...
